Allergies

Allergies used to be defined as inappropriate immune responses to substances like cat hair, dust or wheat, and seasonal conditions, like dust, pollen or spores that weren’t normally harmful. Today, the dramatic rise in allergies may be due to substances that are harmful, like environmental pollutants, asbestos and smoke exhaust fumes. Stress and adrenal exhaustion, common problems in western societies set the stage. Enzyme imbalance and essential fatty acid deficiency are also usually involved.
